myM-link Terms and Conditions of Membership

All membership applications are reviewed by the Board, and any refused memberships will receive a notification in writing outlining the reason for the refusal.

A company, organisation or individual who has paid a membership fee for the current financial year will be considered a Member, and will be entitled to the services herein subscribed determined by the fee paid.

A membership contract is formed with the signed application form and membership fee payment.

For members subscribing before 1 June 2009, the membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March, and membership shall automatically renew upon each anniversary date unless either party submits a termination request in writing.

Please note any member wishing to terminate their membership shall do so giving myM-link one month’s notice in writing.

For companies paying a 3 year membership, the membership year begins 1 April 2008 and ends 31 March 2011. The membership fee is payable in advance of the membership year beginning, unless otherwise agreed in writing by myM-link. Please note that 3 years memberships will not be offered after 1 April 2009

For the avoidance of doubt, termination of the membership for any reason shall not entitle the Member to any refund of the annual sum due.

The Membership fee is payable annually in advance in cleared funds within 30 days of our acceptance of your Membership application and any anniversary thereof.

All membership fees are exclusive of VAT which shall be paid at the rate and in the manner for the time being prescribed by law.

If the membership fee applicable to your first year of membership is not paid within the time period within 30 days, then your membership shall automatically terminate.

If the membership fee applicable to any subsequent year of membership is not paid within 30 days of commencement of the membership year in question, we shall send a payment reminder by email to the email address you submitted on joining or which you subsequently advised to us. If the membership fee in question is not paid within the period referred to in such payment reminder, then your membership shall expire on the last day of such period.

All companies joining myM-link will be charged a joining fee, which is a one-time fee unless the membership lapses for non-renewal or non-payment.

myM-link reserves the right to cancel or suspend a membership if it comes to notice the company has supplied false or inaccurate information; has had unprofessional, questionable or illegal business practices; or the company or any of its representatives acts with gross misconduct.

For companies who sign a multi-year agreement, if myM-link is unable to continue providing its membership service (or cancels its operation), then the unused portion of paid membership monies will be returned to the member in accordance with legal stipulations.
